Elevator Table
This is a set of digital plans for the Elevator Table, a coffee table that converts into a 6 person dining table in a few seconds. Plans includes a step-by-step guide on how to build the table, and 3 PDF templates for the lift arms, track, and leaf supports. Additionally, there’s a SVG file that can be used to cut the tracks if you have Shaper Origin, or another form of CNC.
The build difficulty is intermediate
Total Dimensions
Coffee Table: H 18” W 51 1/2” D 22” (H 457mm W 1308mm D 559mm)
Dining Table: H 26 3/4” W 51 1/2” D 34 1/2” (H 680mm W 1308mm D 876mm)
Materials
Tabletop and leaves total 51 1/2” x 34 1/2” at 3/4” thick. This can either be made with a single sheet of plywood, or with a hardwood panel glue-up.
Table legs, apron, and leaf supports - These are all made of 3/4” material. All of the parts are 2 1/4” or smaller. They total 50 linear feet.
Dowels - One 24” x 1/2” hardwood dowel.
Twelve 3/4” #8 pan head screws
Self adhesive felt
Wood Finish.
